Anak autis

Emir bilang dia menikmati perannya sebagai anak penderita autis di film yang berkisah tentang anak tak mampu dengan anak autis dari keluarga berada. "Waktu itu aku diahak main di film ini karna Om Adit (Aditya Gumay, sang sutadara) tertarik melihat aktingku di Garuda Di Dadaku," kata Emir. Dia makin semangat bermain di film ini karena tahu keuntungan film disumbangkan untuk amal.

Pengalamannya semasa sekolah di Jakarta membantunya masuk ke dalam karakter. Di sekolahnya setiap kelas selalu menerima anak-anak dengan kebutuhan khusus, misalnya yang menerima anak autis. "Menurut aku anak autis punya sesuatu yang istimewa(duh  udah kyk chibi2 aja isetimewa). Seperti temanku, dia bisa menghafal tempat tinggal orang."tambahnya.

Prestasi emir enggak hanya pada piala FFI lho! Dia juga meraih penghargaan sebagai Best Performance di Festival Teheran - Iran untuk film Garuda Di Dadaku. Lagi-lagi Emir nggak nyangka sama sekali! Yang pasti Emir merasa senang kalau aktingnya disukai banyak orang. Dia berharap orang juga suka dengan Garuda Di Dadaku2."Ceritanya lebih seru dan banyak karakter baru. Kalau yang pertama cerita soal bayu dan masalah keluarganya. Di film GDD2 cerita soal masalah bayu di Timnas."jelas Emir. Banyak cerita yang tak terlupakan selama syuting berlangsung. Salah satu adegan yang paling berkesan adalah adegan makan es krim di taman karena ada sekitar 20 es krim capucinno yang harus dimakan. Adegan seru lainnya adalah adegan berlatih di gurun yang panas dan kering.
